Below are some pictures and explanations of our duct cleaning process.
The first thing we do (after introducing ourselves) is cut openings in the appropriate places. We then insert the 8" suction hose into the opening and block off the remaining ductwork.
Here we are sending the agitator down the heating pipe. This will clean the entire pipe down to the main ductwork (where the most dust lies that is pushed out when your furnace comes on). With the tremendous vacuum out doors and the agitator working together it creates a dust free atmosphere - NO dust escapes into your home from the ductwork.
With the vacuum hose in the ductwork, we are sending the agitator down to the end of the the ductwork, forcing all the dust, dirt and debris toward the vacuum and out through the hose to the hopper outside. Once this section of ductwork is cleared, we repeat the procedure through out the entire system.
After vacuuming the entire ductwork, we get up into the duct using a telescopic pole with a slightly moist towel on a brush to mop away any remaining stain. This ensures all the duct is cleaned thoroughly and leaves the ductwork spotless.
Here Larry is explaining to a customer that "just using the agitation is like trying to clean a very dirty kitchen floor with just a broom - mopping is more thorough."
Once cleaning is finished we seal your ductwork with new sheet metal using s-cleats and metal screws to ensure an airtight fit. The end result is a clean, no leak patch that blends into your ductwork. At the end of this entire process we run the blower about 20 minutes to make sure everything is dried out and there is no moisture in the ductwork.

One of the most important parts of our cleaning is the furnace and air conditioner coil. The AC coil unit sets right on top of your furnace. Whatever gets past your filter will lodge in the AC coil. If the coil is clogged with dust, pet hair, etc. air cannot travel through the coil freely. This drives up utility bills and lowers HVAC performance.
Here we have removed the coil cabinet door and AC coil cover to clean the entire inside of the coil.
